Meet the Quiet Mind Yoga team! We are a passionate group of facilitators here to serve our community by way of Yoga, Meditation, Breathwork, Sound Healing and Energy Healing.

Matthew began his journey with yoga over 14 years ago to aid his studies in the arts. It wasn't until 7 years ago that he was lead to fully dedicate himself to this practice. Through a series of destined events Matthew decided to become a yoga instructor in 2016. Ever since then his intention has been to help as many people as possible to set themselves free and heal through the beauty that is yoga. Matthew also facilitates energy healing and breathwork journey's to aid in the healing and growth of his clients.
Laura has been practicing yoga for more than 6 years. One of the main reasons she enjoys teaching yoga is to help individuals improve their mental health. She likes to focus her sessions on the importance of embracing self-love. Furthermore, she loves to incorporate aroma therapy and create unique playlist for her classes. Yoga helps me and you to stay focused and in the present moment.
Ana Paula Morales
Ana Paula has been practicing yoga for 10 years. It all started with the intention of exercising but once she started noticing her overall health improving she got hooked! A few years later she got certified as a Yoga Teacher to deepen her practice and she ended up falling in love with teaching too. It fills her heart with joy guiding others towards the blissful feeling that yoga awakens in the mind, body and soul.
Erika was introduced to yoga over 16 years ago. In 2010 she traveled to Cancun to complete her first 200 Hr Yoga Teacher Training at It's Yoga Cancun. This was an experience that changed her life. She has had the opportunity to attend trainings and workshops with many internationally known teachers and continues to expand her study of yoga to this day! She is definitely one of the pioneers of the RGV Yoga community. Erika strongly believes that teaching yoga is a great opportunity to help people transform their lives, finding the balance between a healthy body, happy soul and a strong yet calm mind.
Mayela started her yoga practice 12 years ago due to a health situation she had. Thanks to meditation, breathwork and yoga as a lifestyle her health improved tremendously and she got better . Since then Mayela has expanded her journey in the holistic world through aromatherapy, coaching and healthy habits. She loves to share and create community.
Connie RYT200+Buti Yoga certified is a creative and dedicated teacher committed to creating a meaningful and safe space for her students. Connie's classes offer beginner and seasoned yogis alike the space for self-discovery and encouragement to grow both physically and emotionally.
Bianca was introduced to yoga over 12 years ago while living away. She was immediately hooked by how yoga made her body feel, but most importantly, her mind. Her mind felt bigger than the universe. Upon her return to the Rgv, she found a yoga studio and trained under Erika Contreras. Erika inspired her and also, encouraged her when she decided to become a yoga teacher. Bianca received her 200 hrs teacher training with Liliana Mejia under It's Yoga Cancun. Bianca loves to see the look of peace, the glow of the soul, and the transformation yoga gifts to people.
Jordan has been practicing yoga since 2019. She took a prenatal yoga class when she was pregnant with her son and absolutely loved the way she felt not only physically but emotionally and mentally. She completely transformed and shifted gears; after her first class she knew this was exactly what she wanted to do. She wanted to share this feeling with other birthing individuals. Jordan has a huge passion for pregnancy and child birth. As a doula, placenta encapsulation specialist, and prenatal yoga instructor her main goal is to empower birthing folks and help them find all the tools to create a positive and empowering birth experience. She got certified with Austin Prenatal Yoga.
